Tour Itinerary

Day 1: NJP to Lataguri

The journey begins with your arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Lataguri, which is approximately a 2-hour drive.

1. Lataguri: Upon arrival, you will check into your resort and have the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the upcoming tour.
2. Gorumara National Park: You will embark on a jungle safari at Gorumara National Park, which is known for its population of Indian rhinoceros.

Day 2: Gorumara and Chapramari Safari

Today is dedicated to exploring the wildlife and scenic beauty of the region.

1. Gorumara National Park: You will embark on a morning safari in Gorumara National Park.
2. Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary: In the afternoon, you will visit Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary, which is known for its elephants and other wildlife.

Day 3: Samsing and Suntalekhola

Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to the scenic villages of Samsing and Suntalekhola.

Day 4: Jaldhaka and Buxa Fort

Day 5: Cooch Behar Day Trip

Today is dedicated to a day trip to the historical city of Cooch Behar. The drive from Lataguri to Cooch Behar is approximately 2 hours.

1. Cooch Behar Rajbari: Visit the magnificent Cooch Behar Rajbari (Palace), which is a historical palace with beautiful architecture.
2. Madan Mohan Temple: Visit the famous Madan Mohan Temple, a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.
3. Madhupur Dham Temple: You can also visit Madhupur Dham Temple, a historical temple with a rich heritage.

Day 6: Rajabhatkhawa & Departure

Today is dedicated to a visit to the Rajabhatkhawa Nature Interpretation Centre before your departure.

1. Rajabhatkhawa Nature Interpretation Centre: You will visit the Nature Interpretation Centre, which has a museum, an orchidarium, and an animal rescue center.
2. Departure: After the sightseeing, you will be transferred to NJP or New Alipurduar Railway Station for your onward journey.
