Day 1: Arrive Amritsar - Spiritual & Patriotic Evening

Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Amritsar, a city brimming with spiritual devotion and historical significance. Our representative will meet you and facilitate your transfer to the hotel. Check-in and refresh.

Afternoon: Begin your exploration with the soul-stirring Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), the holiest shrine of Sikhism. Witness its serene beauty and spiritual aura.

Late Afternoon: Pay homage at Jallianwala Bagh, a historical site commemorating the tragic massacre. Feel the poignant history of this sacred ground.

Evening: Visit Shri Durgiana Mandir, a beautiful Hindu temple replicating the architecture of the Golden Temple.

Night: Head to the Attari-Wagah Border (approx. 30 km from Amritsar) to witness the highly energetic Beating Retreat Ceremony, a daily flag-lowering parade by the Indian and Pakistani forces, filled with patriotic fervor.

Dinner: Enjoy an authentic Amritsari dinner (at your own expense) before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar - Dalhousie Transfer & Colonial Charm

Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Amritsar hotel and embark on a scenic drive to Dalhousie, a charming hill station renowned for its colonial-era architecture and serene natural beauty.

Afternoon - Dalhousie Sightseeing: Upon arrival and check-in, begin exploring Dalhousie's quaint attractions:

Panchpula: Visit Panchpula, a picturesque spot with multiple streams and waterfalls, offering a tranquil environment and a memorial dedicated to Sardar Ajit Singh.

Day 3: Dalhousie Sightseeing - Chamba & Khajjiar Excursion

Chamba: Drive to the ancient town of Chamba, situated on the banks of the Ravi River, known for its rich history, temples, and handicrafts.

Laxmi Narayan Temple: In Chamba, visit the group of ancient Laxmi Narayan Temples, showcasing exquisite stone carvings and architecture.

The Chowgan: Explore The Chowgan, the central grassy promenade in Chamba, a hub of local activity.

Bhuri Singh Museum: Discover the heritage of Chamba at the Bhuri Singh Museum, housing a collection of miniature paintings, artifacts, and historical documents.

Afternoon: Proceed to Khajjiar, often called the "Mini Switzerland of India."

Day 4: Dalhousie - Dharamshala Transfer & Tibetan Serenity

Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Dalhousie hotel and drive to Dharamshala, the spiritual capital of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile.

Afternoon - Dharamshala City Sightseeing: Upon arrival and check-in, immerse yourself in the unique Tibetan culture:

McLeod Ganj: Explore McLeod Ganj, the vibrant upper town often referred to as "Little Lhasa," teeming with Tibetan monasteries, cafes, and markets.

Dalai Lama Temple (Tsuglagkhang Complex): Visit the main temple complex, the official residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and experience a sense of peace and spirituality.

Dal Lake (Dharamshala): See the small, picturesque Dal Lake, surrounded by lush deodar trees.

Day 6: Manali Sightseeing - High Altitude Thrills

Morning: After breakfast, prepare for an adventurous day in and around Manali.

Rohtang Pass (Subject to Availability/Permit): Drive towards the legendary Rohtang Pass, a high mountain pass offering breathtaking views of glaciers and peaks (access is subject to weather conditions and availability of permits, typically open from May to October. If Rohtang is closed, alternative sightseeing will be arranged).

Atal Tunnel: Experience the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel, a gateway to the Lahaul Valley, offering incredible views and a unique drive.

Sissu Lake: Visit the tranquil Sissu Lake in Lahaul Valley, offering serene views amidst the towering peaks (accessible via Atal Tunnel).

Day: The journey offers spectacular views of the Shivalik mountain ranges (Mighty Himalayas). Enjoy the changing landscapes and the beauty of the Beas River flowing alongside the highway for a significant stretch.

Evening: Arrive in Shimla, check into your hotel, and relax after the long but picturesque drive. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 9: Shimla Sightseeing - Colonial & Natural Gems

Day 10: Shimla - Chandigarh Transfer & City Exploration

Afternoon - Chandigarh Sightseeing: Upon arrival and check-in, explore some of Chandigarh's iconic landmarks:

Rock Garden: Visit the unique Rock Garden, a fantastic sculpture garden created by Nek Chand from industrial and urban waste.

Sukhna Lake: Enjoy a leisurely walk or boat ride at Sukhna Lake, a serene artificial lake at the foothills of the Himalayas.

Evening: Enjoy your last evening of the tour in Chandigarh. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.

Day 11: Transfer to Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station

Morning: After breakfast, check out from your hotel.

Day: Our representative will transfer you to Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, filled with wonderful memories of your grand Himachal adventure.
