Day 1: Arrival in Agartala - Royal Heritage of Tripura
Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Agartala Airport (IXA) or Railway Station. Our representative will warmly greet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel. Check-in and relax.
Afternoon: Begin your exploration of Agartala, the capital of Tripura.
Ujjayanta Palace: Visit the magnificent Ujjayanta Palace, a former royal palace of the Tripura Kingdom, now a state museum showcasing the region's history and culture.
Night: Overnight stay in Agartala.
Day 2: Agartala Sightseeing - Palaces, Temples & Borders
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in and around Agartala.
Neermahal: Take a captivating excursion to Neermahal, the beautiful water palace located in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake (approx. 53 km from Agartala). Enjoy a boat ride to reach the palace.
Tripura Sundari Temple: Visit the sacred Tripura Sundari Temple (also known as Matabari), one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, located in Udaipur.
Afternoon:
India-Bangladesh Border (Akhaura Check Post): Witness the interesting India-Bangladesh Border ceremony at Akhaura Check Post (similar to Wagah Border, subject to ceremony timings and permission).
Night: Overnight stay in Agartala.
Day 3: Agartala - Aizawl Transfer - The Mizo Hills Beckon
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Agartala hotel.
Transfer to Aizawl: Begin your journey to Aizawl, the picturesque capital of Mizoram. This transfer is typically by flight (Agartala to Aizawl direct flight, if available, or via Kolkata/Guwahati). Road travel is extremely long and not recommended.
Note: Direct flights between Agartala and Aizawl are less frequent. The most practical route is usually a flight via Kolkata or Guwahati. Please note flight schedules are subject to change.
Afternoon: Upon arrival at Lengpui Airport, Aizawl, our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the city. Check into your hotel.
Late Afternoon: Aizawl Zoo: (Optional, if time permits, or swap with a city view point). You can visit the Aizawl Zoo or enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
Night: Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Day 4: Aizawl Sightseeing - Panoramic Vistas & Spirituality
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Aizawl.
Durtlang Hills: Drive up to Durtlang Hills for breathtaking panoramic views of Aizawl city and the surrounding Mizo hills, perfect for photography.
Solomon's Temple: Visit the impressive Solomon's Temple, a beautiful and unique church complex known for its grand architecture and serene ambiance.
Night: Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Day 5: Aizawl Sightseeing - Culture & Local Life
Morning: After breakfast, continue your exploration of Aizawl.
Mizoram State Museum: Visit the Mizoram State Museum (closed on Mondays) to learn about Mizo culture, history, and ethnography, showcasing traditional costumes, artifacts, and photographs.
Local Markets (Bara Bazar): Explore the vibrant Bara Bazar, the main shopping center of Aizawl, offering traditional Mizo garments, handicrafts, and local produce, giving you a glimpse into daily Mizo life.
Night: Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Day 6: Aizawl - Imphal Transfer (By Flight) - The Jewel of Manipur
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Aizawl hotel.
Flight to Imphal: Transfer to Lengpui Airport, Aizawl for your flight to Imphal, Manipur (approx. 1-1.5 hour flight time, may have a short layover depending on schedule).
Afternoon: Upon arrival in Imphal, our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel. Check into your hotel.
Late Afternoon: Kangla Fort & Kangla Museum: Begin your exploration with a visit to the historic Kangla Fort, the ancient capital of the Manipuri kings, and its associated Kangla Museum, offering insights into Manipur's royal past.
World War II Cemetery: Pay homage at the poignant World War II Cemetery, a solemn reminder of the fierce battles fought here.
Night: Overnight stay in Imphal.
Day 7: Imphal Sightseeing - Royal History & Local Life
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Imphal.
Ima Keithel (Mother's Market): Experience the vibrant Ima Keithel, a truly unique market entirely run by women, offering a fascinating glimpse into local life, handicrafts, and traditional items.
Manipur State Museum: Visit the Manipur State Museum (closed on Mondays) to see a comprehensive collection of Manipuri culture, history, and natural history.
Afternoon:
Andro Village: (Optional, if time permits, requires some travel outside city) Visit Andro Village, a cultural heritage complex showcasing traditional Manipuri houses, pottery, and a cultural display.
Manipur Zoological Gardens: (Optional) If interested in local wildlife, visit the Manipur Zoological Gardens.
War Memorial: (If different from the WWII cemetery or referring to a specific local memorial) Explore other war memorials or significant historical sites.

Day 8: Imphal - Kohima Transfer - Naga Heritage
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Imphal hotel.
Day: Embark on a comfortable drive to Kohima (approximately 5-6 hours drive), the capital of Nagaland, famous for its unique tribal culture and World War II history.
Afternoon: Upon arrival in Kohima, check into your hotel.
Late Afternoon: Shri Shri Govindaji Temple: (Optional) While primarily in Imphal, if there's a smaller local temple, you could include it here. Given the long drive, leisure is often preferred.
Night: Overnight stay in Kohima.
Day 9: Kohima Sightseeing - History & Culture
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Kohima.
Kohima War Cemetery: Visit the poignant Kohima War Cemetery, a beautifully maintained memorial dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives in World War II's Battle of Kohima.
State Museum: Explore the Nagaland State Museum (closed on Mondays and public holidays) to learn about the rich history, traditions, and artifacts of the various Naga tribes.
Afternoon:
Khonoma Village: Visit Khonoma Village, famously known as India's first green village, renowned for its conservation efforts, terraced fields, and historical significance as a stronghold of the Angami tribe.
Khonoma Nature Conservation Sanctuary: Explore parts of the Khonoma Nature Conservation Sanctuary.
Catholic Cathedral: Visit the beautiful Mary Help of Christians Cathedral in Kohima.
Night: Overnight stay in Kohima.
Day 10: Kohima - Majuli Island Transfer - World's Largest River Island
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Kohima hotel.
Day: Begin your journey to Jorhat (approx. 6-7 hours drive), the gateway to Majuli Island. From Jorhat (Neamati Ghat), take a ferry to Majuli Island (approx. 1-1.5 hour ferry ride), the world's largest freshwater river island and a cultural hub of Assamese Neo-Vaishnavite tradition.
Evening: Upon arrival on Majuli, check into your guesthouse/resort.
Night: Overnight stay in Majuli Island.
Day 11: Majuli Island Exploration - Satras & Culture
Morning: After breakfast, explore the unique culture and traditions of Majuli.
Kamalabari Satra & Auniati Satra: Visit prominent Satras (monasteries) like Kamalabari Satra and Auniati Satra, centers of Vaishnavite art, culture, and traditional performing arts.
Mask Making Village (Samaguri Satra): Witness the traditional Mask Making Village (Samaguri Satra), where unique masks used in 'Bhaona' (traditional plays) are crafted.
Mishing Tribe Village: Visit a Mishing Tribe Village to experience the simple lifestyle and unique bamboo stilt houses of the local community.
Birdwatching: (Seasonal) Enjoy birdwatching as Majuli is a birdwatcher's paradise, especially during winter.
Night: Overnight stay in Majuli Island.
Day 12: Majuli Island - Kaziranga Transfer - Wildlife Encounter
Morning: After breakfast, take the ferry back from Majuli to Neamati Ghat (Jorhat).
Day: From Jorhat, proceed to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 2-3 hours drive), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famed for its one-horned rhinoceros.
Afternoon: Upon arrival, check into your jungle resort/hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Night: Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 13: Kaziranga - Dirang Transfer (Via Bomdila) - Into Arunachal's Serenity
Early Morning:
Jeep Safari – Kaziranga National Park: Embark on an exhilarating Jeep Safari in the Central or Western range of Kaziranga National Park. This is your prime opportunity to spot the majestic one-horned rhino, wild elephants, swamp deer, and various bird species. (Elephant Safari is optional, at extra cost, and subject to availability, often starting very early morning).
Morning: After breakfast, check out from Kaziranga and begin your journey towards Dirang (approximately 7-8 hours), entering the enchanting state of Arunachal Pradesh.
En Route Bomdila: You will pass through Bomdila, a scenic town.
Bomdila Monastery: (Optional, if time permits) You can visit the peaceful Bomdila Monastery for a brief stop.
Evening: Arrive in Dirang. Check into your hotel. Dirang offers stunning views of the Dirang Valley and River.
Night: Overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 14: Dirang - Tawang Transfer - The Monastic Marvels of the Himalayas
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Dirang hotel and begin your journey to Tawang (approximately 6-7 hours), one of the most picturesque and significant towns in Arunachal Pradesh.
En Route: This route is famous for its high-altitude passes and stunning lakes.
Sela Pass & Sela Lake: Cross the majestic Sela Pass (13,700 ft), often snow-covered, and stop at the serene Sela Lake.
Jaswant Garh Indo-China War Memorial: Pay homage at the Jaswant Garh Indo-China War Memorial, dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat.
Nuranang Falls (Jang Falls): Marvel at the spectacular Nuranang Falls, also known as Jang Falls, a pristine and powerful waterfall.
P.T. Tso Lake (Peng Teng Tso Lake) & Shungatser Lake (Madhuri Lake): Visit these beautiful high-altitude lakes if time permits.
Evening: Arrive in Tawang. Check into your hotel.
Night: Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 15: Tawang Sightseeing - Spiritual & Scenic Wonders
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in and around Tawang.
Tawang Monastery: Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, the second-largest monastery in Asia and an important center for Tibetan Buddhism. Explore its vast complex, library, and prayer halls.
Afternoon:
Tawang War Memorial: Visit the poignant Tawang War Memorial, dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
Sound and Light Show: In the evening, experience the moving Sound and Light Show at the memorial (subject to show timings and availability).
Explore local markets for souvenirs.
Night: Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 16: Tawang - Bhalukpong Transfer - Gateway to Assam
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Tawang hotel.
Day: Begin your long but scenic descent from Tawang to Bhalukpong (approximately 8-9 hours), located at the border of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
Afternoon/Evening: Upon arrival in Bhalukpong, check into your hotel.
Bhalukpong Fort: (If time permits) A small historical fort.
Tippi Orchidarium: (If time permits) Visit the Tippi Orchidarium near Bhalukpong, known for its extensive collection of orchids.
Explore a local market if time permits.

Day 17: Bhalukpong - Shillong Transfer - Back to the Abode of Clouds
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Bhalukpong hotel.
Day: Begin your journey to Shillong (approximately 7-8 hours), the capital of Meghalaya.

Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake): En route to Shillong, you'll pass by or can make a stop at Umiam Lake, a large artificial lake offering stunning views.
Evening: Arrive in Shillong. Check into your hotel. The evening is free for relaxation.

Day 18: Shillong - Cherrapunji Excursion - Waterfalls & Caves
Morning: After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji (Sohra).
Nohkalikai Falls: Witness the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India.
Mawsmai Cave: Explore the fascinating Mawsmai Cave, a limestone cave system.
Seven Sisters Falls: Admire the scenic Seven Sisters Falls.

Day 19: Shillong - Mawlynnong & Dawki Excursion - Asia's Cleanest Village & Clear Waters
Morning: After breakfast, embark on another fascinating full-day excursion.
Mawlynnong Village: Drive to Mawlynnong Village, celebrated as "Asia's Cleanest Village." Explore its pristine surroundings.
Living Root Bridge (Riwai): Visit a different Living Root Bridge in Riwai (near Mawlynnong).
Dawki & Umngot River (Shnongpdeng): Proceed to Dawki and its famous Umngot River in Shnongpdeng. Enjoy a serene boat ride on the crystal-clear waters.
Mawphlang Sacred Forest: (Optional, if time permits, slightly off route but culturally significant) Explore the ancient and ecologically rich Mawphlang Sacred Forest, revered by the Khasi community.
Evening: Return to Shillong.

Day 20: Shillong Departure
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Shillong hotel.
Departure: Our representative will assist you with your timely transfer to Guwahati Airport (GAU) (approx. 3-4 hours drive from Shillong) for your onward flight, carrying a lifetime of incredible memories from your 'Complete North East India Immersion' adventure.
Note: While Shillong has an airport (SHL), it has limited connectivity. Guwahati (GAU) is the primary airport for departures from Shillong.
