Flight to Aizawl: Transfer to Imphal Airport for your flight to Aizawl, Mizoram (approx. 1-1.5 hour flight time, may have a short layover depending on schedule).

Afternoon: Upon arrival at Lengpui Airport, Aizawl, our representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the city. Check into your hotel.

Late Afternoon: Bara Bazar: Explore Bara Bazar, the main shopping center of Aizawl, offering traditional Mizo garments, handicrafts, and local produce, giving you a vibrant introduction to Mizo life.

Night: Overnight stay in Aizawl.

Flight to Shillong/Guwahati: Transfer to Lengpui Airport, Aizawl for your flight to Shillong (SHL) or Guwahati (GAU).

Note: Direct flights to Shillong are limited. Most practical options involve a flight to Guwahati and then a scenic 3-hour road transfer to Shillong. This itinerary assumes a flight connection that allows reaching Shillong by evening.

Evening: Upon arrival in Shillong, check into your hotel. Enjoy an evening stroll around Police Bazaar for leisure and local shopping.

Day 8: Shillong - Cherrapunji Excursion - Waterfalls & Caves

Morning: After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji (Sohra), renowned as one of the wettest places on Earth, famous for its living root bridges, waterfalls, and caves.

Nohkalikai Falls: Witness the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India.

Day 9: Shillong - Mawlynnong & Dawki Excursion - Asia's Cleanest Village & Clear Waters

Living Root Bridge (Riwai): Visit a different Living Root Bridge in Riwai (near Mawlynnong).

Dawki & Umngot River (Shnongpdeng): Proceed to Dawki and its famous Umngot River in Shnongpdeng. Enjoy a serene boat ride on the crystal-clear waters, where you can often see the riverbed clearly.

Day 10: Shillong Departure

Morning: After breakfast, check out from your Shillong hotel.

Departure: Our representative will assist you with your timely transfer to Guwahati Airport (GAU) (approx. 3-4 hours drive from Shillong) for your onward flight, carrying a lifetime of incredible memories from your 'Best of 10 Days North East by Flight' adventure.

Note: While Shillong has an airport (SHL), it has limited connectivity. Guwahati (GAU) is the primary airport for departures from Shillong.
