Amazing North Sikkim Tour(7 Nights,8 Days)

Day 1: Bagdogra to Gangtok

The journey begins with your arrival at Bagdogra Airport. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours.

1. Gangtok: Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and explore the local market.

Day 2: Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion

Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake. This is a very long and adventurous day, so an early start is essential.

1. Tsomgo Lake: You will visit the beautiful Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
2. Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir: You will also visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a temple dedicated to a soldier of the Indian Army who is revered as a saint.
3. Optional: Nathula Pass: If the weather and road conditions permit, and you have the required permits, you can visit Nathula Pass (at an extra cost).

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachen

After an early breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and begin your long and scenic journey to Lachen. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours.

1. Singhik Viewpoint: You will stop at Singhik Viewpoint for a panoramic view of Mount Kanchenjunga.
2. Seven Sisters & Naga Waterfalls: You will also make a stop at the beautiful Seven Sisters and Naga Waterfalls.
3. Lachen: Upon arrival in Lachen, a beautiful village at a high altitude, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and acclimatize.

Day 4: Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung

Today is a very long and adventurous day. You will have a very early start to visit Gurudongmar Lake.

1. Gurudongmar Lake: You will drive to Gurudongmar Lake, a sacred high-altitude lake located at an altitude of over 17,000 feet. You will also visit Chopta Valley on your way.
2. Lachung: After your visit, you will return to Lachen for lunch and then drive to Lachung, which is approximately a 2-hour drive. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel.

Day 5: Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Gangtok

After an early breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and drive to Yumthang Valley.

1. Yumthang Valley: Visit the beautiful Yumthang Valley, also known as the "Valley of Flowers." You will also visit the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary and the local hot springs.
2. Gangtok: After your visit, you will begin your long journey back to Gangtok. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel.

Day 6: Gangtok Sightseeing to Pelling

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and embark on a sightseeing tour of Gangtok before driving to Pelling. The drive to Pelling takes approximately 5 hours.

1. Gangtok Sightseeing: You will visit the Dro-dul Chorten, the Tibetology Institute, and the beautiful Banjhakri Waterfalls.
2. Pelling: Upon arrival in Pelling, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax.

Day 7: Pelling Sightseeing to Darjeeling

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and embark on a sightseeing tour of Pelling before driving to Darjeeling. The drive to Darjeeling takes approximately 4-5 hours.

1. Pelling Sightseeing: You will visit the famous Pemayangtse Monastery, the Darap Village, Rimbi Falls, and Kanchenjunga Falls.
2. Darjeeling: Upon arrival in Darjeeling, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax.

Day 8: Darjeeling to Bagdogra Departure

1. Your tour of the beautiful landscapes of Sikkim and Darjeeling concludes today. After breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. The drive takes approximately 3-4 hours.
