Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Jammu to Katra

The journey begins with your arrival at Jammu Airport or Railway Station. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. The drive takes approximately 2-3 hours.

1. Katra: Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the pilgrimage.

Day 2: Katra to Srinagar

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Katra and begin your long and scenic journey to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The drive takes approximately 7-8 hours.

1. Katra to Srinagar (Transfer): Take the scenic 6-8 hour drive from Katra to Srinagar.
2. Shankaracharya Temple: Upon arrival and check-in, visit the hilltop temple for panoramic views of the city and Dal Lake.
3. Mughal Gardens Tour
4. Nishat Bagh: Explore the 12-terraced "Garden of Joy."
5. Shalimar Bagh: Conclude at the "Abode of Love," the grandest royal garden.

Day 3: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, the "Meadow of Flowers." The drive takes approximately 2 hours each way.

1. Gulmarg: Upon arrival, you can enjoy a Gondola ride,(At your own cost) which is one of the highest cable cars in the world, and offers a panoramic view of the mountains. You can also explore the beautiful meadows and enjoy the serene beauty of Gulmarg.

Day 4: Srinagar – Sonmarg (Glacier & Pass Views) – Srinagar

Srinagar to Sonmarg: Depart early for the scenic 2.5-3 hour drive to Sonmarg ("Meadow of Gold").

1. Zoji La Pass Drive: Drive towards Zoji La Pass (or Zero Point, depending on road conditions/season) for dramatic high-altitude mountain views.
2. Thajiwas Glacier Viewpoint: Return towards Sonmarg and take a pony/local taxi to the viewpoint for a 360° view of the Thajiwas Glacier area.
3. Return to Srinagar: Drive back to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 5: Srinagar to Pahalgam & Valley Visits

1. Srinagar to Pahalgam: Drive to Pahalgam (2.5-3 hrs) and check into your hotel.
2. Valley Tour: Hire a local taxi to visit:
3. Chandanwari: See the Amarnath Yatra starting point and glacier views.
4. Betaab Valley: Enjoy the lush meadows and streams.
5.  Aru Valley: Explore the serene meadows and trek base.
6. Pahalgam (Night Stay): Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Pahalgam to Jammu

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Pahalgam and begin your long journey back to  Srinagar. The drive takes approximately 7-8 hours.

1. Jammu: Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and prepare for your departure the next day.

Day 7: Jammu Departure

Your tour of the beautiful landscapes of Jammu and Kashmir concludes today. After breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to Jammu Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.

Inclusions

1. Accommodation: 1 night in Katra, 3 nights in Srinagar, 1 night in Pahalgam, and 1 night in Jammu.
2. Meals: Daily breakfast is included in your stay.
3. Transportation: All transfers and sightseeing tours are included as per the No of Pax
4. Sightseeing: All the mentioned locations in the itinerary are included in the tour plan, Excluding - (Zero Point, Thajiwas Glacier in Sonmarg and Aru, Betab Valley in Pahalgham where Local cabs are required for transportation)

Exclusions

1. Lunch and Dinner: Meals other than breakfast are not included.
2. Entry Fees: Entry tickets, camera fees, or any other charges for monuments, museums, and parks are not included.
3. Adventure Activities: Charges for activities like Gondola ride, Shikara ride, or any other optional activities are not included.
4. Personal Expenses: Expenses of a personal nature such as shopping, laundry, tips, and phone calls are not included.
5. Travel Insurance: This package does not include travel insurance.
6. Airfare/Train Tickets: This package does not include airfare or train tickets to and from Jammu.
