Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Siliguri to Gangtok

The journey begins with your arrival at Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours.

1. Gangtok: Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and unwind.

Day 2: Gangtok Sightseeing

Today is dedicated to exploring the beautiful city of Gangtok.

1. Do Drul Chorten: Visit the Do Drul Chorten, a famous stupa known for its golden dome and beautiful surroundings.
2. Ganesh Tok: Visit Ganesh Tok, a small temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, which offers a panoramic view of the city.
3. Tashi View Point: You can also visit Tashi View Point for a stunning view of Mount Kanchenjunga.
4. Namgyal Institute of Tibetology: You will visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a renowned center for Tibetan studies.

Day 3: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake

Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake. This is a very long and adventurous day, so an early start is essential.

1. Tsomgo Lake: You will visit the beautiful Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. You can enjoy a yak ride or simply take in the serene beauty of the lake.
2. Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple: On your way back, you will visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, a temple dedicated to a soldier of the Indian Army who is revered as a saint.

Day 4: Gangtok to Darjeeling

After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Gangtok and drive to Darjeeling, the "Queen of Hills." The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours.

1. Darjeeling: Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the upcoming tour.
2. Ghoom Monastery: In the evening, you can visit Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest Tibetan monasteries in Darjeeling.

Day 5: Darjeeling Sightseeing & Departure

Today is dedicated to exploring the beautiful hill station of Darjeeling before your departure.

1. Tiger Hill: You will have a very early start to visit Tiger Hill for a spectacular sunrise view over Mount Kanchenjunga.
2. Batasia Loop: On your way back, you will visit Batasia Loop, a beautiful railway loop that offers a panoramic view of the mountains.
3. Departure: After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to Siliguri/NJP for your onward journey.
