Day 1: Arrive in Chandigarh - Transfer to Shimla

Embark on a scenic 3-4 hour drive from Chandigarh, ascending through winding roads and lush pine forests. This beautiful journey through the Himalayan foothills quickly transports you to the cool, colonial charm of Shimla, the Queen of Hills. Upon arrival in Shimla, check into your hotel and take some time to relax . Later, you'll embark on a sightseeing tour of Shimla's most iconic spots.

1. Shimla State Museum: This museum, open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on Mondays and holidays), offers a glimpse into the rich history and culture of Himachal Pradesh. You'll find a collection of ancient artifacts, traditional art, and historical documents.
2. The Ridge of Shimla: A large open space in the heart of Shimla, The Ridge is the hub of all cultural activities and offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills. It's an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll and a great place to soak in the atmosphere.
3. Scandal Point: Located at the intersection of The Ridge and Mall Road, this point is famous for a captivating, albeit possibly apocryphal, story involving the Maharaja of Patiala and a British Viceroy's daughter. It's a popular photo spot and a place to learn about local lore.

  Day2- Shimla to Manali transfer via Kufri

Today is dedicated to exploring the natural beauty and key attractions of Shimla and the nearby hill station of Kufri.

1. Christ Church: Before departing Shimla, start your day with a visit to this iconic neo-gothic church located on The Ridge.
2. Mall Road: Take a brief stroll along Shimla's main promenade, located just below The Ridge, to experience its bustling atmosphere.
3. Kufri: Depart from Shimla and make your first stop at the nearby hill station of Kufri.
4. Indira Bungalow (Indira Tourist Park): Visit this famous landmark in Kufri, known for its pleasant views and as a popular stop for tourists.
5. Himalayan Zoo (Himalayan Nature Park): Explore this high-altitude zoo in Kufri to see native wildlife, including the snow leopard and Himalayan monal.

After concluding your sightseeing in Kufri, begin the long, scenic drive to Manali.

Day3-Manali Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Manali, you will check into your hotel and get ready to explore some of the local gems.

1. Manu Temple: Begin your day in Old Manali with a visit to this ancient temple, which is dedicated to the sage Manu.
2. Hidimba Mandir (Hadimba Temple): Proceed to this unique 16th-century temple, famously built around a cave and set amidst a peaceful cedar forest.
3. Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist Monastery: Visit this serene monastery, located near Mall Road, to admire its tranquil atmosphere and colorful architecture.
4. Mall Road: Conclude your day with a stroll along the bustling Mall Road, exploring its numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Day4-Manali-Solang Valley-Manali

1. 1. Atal Tunnel: Start your day trip by driving from Manali and passing through this 9.02 km long highway tunnel, an engineering marvel that connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul Valley.
   2. Sissu Waterfall: After exiting the tunnel, drive into the Lahaul Valley to visit this breathtaking waterfall, a stunning cascade of water in a pristine, rugged landscape.
   3. Solang Valley: Drive back through the Atal Tunnel and head to this famous adventure hub, renowned for its beautiful meadows and as a hotspot for adventure sports. Spend the afternoon in Solang Valley indulging in thrilling activities* like Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, Hot Air Ballooning, and Quad Biking

There is no entry fee to the valley, but individual activities have their own charges.

Day 5: Manali - Chandigarh Departure

1. Beas River (River Rafting): Drive from Manali towards Kullu (which is on the way to Chandigarh) and stop at a designated rafting point (like Babeli) for a thrilling white-water rafting session on the Beas River.
2. Drive to Chandigarh: After your rafting adventure, continue the scenic drive down from the mountains, passing through the Kullu Valley, and proceed to Chandigarh. It will take approximately 3 hours.
