Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Agartala
The journey begins with your arrival at Agartala Airport. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The day's itinerary is dependent on your arrival time.
- If you arrive before 11 am: You will visit Neermahal, a magnificent water palace located in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake. You will also visit Tripura Sundari Mata Mandir and Kasba Kali Mandir.
- If you arrive after 12 pm: You will visit Neermahal and the Tripura Sundari Temple before checking into your hotel.
Day 2: Agartala - Unakoti - Agartala (Day Trip)
Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to Unakoti. The round-trip journey from Agartala is approximately 360 km, making it a very long day.
- Unakoti Rock Carvings: Visit Unakoti, a historical site known for its massive rock carvings and stone images of Hindu deities.
- Ujjayanta Palace: On your way back to Agartala, you will visit Ujjayanta Palace, the former royal palace of the Tripura kings, which is now a state museum.
Day 3: Agartala - Chobimura - Dumbnoor Lake
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Agartala and drive to Dumbnoor Lake. The journey is approximately 110 km. Along the way, you will visit Chobimura.
- Chobimura Forest: Visit Chobimura, a beautiful hill with rock carvings of Hindu deities on the steep slopes. You will take a boat ride on the Gomati River to see these carvings.
- Dumbnoor Lake: Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel near Dumbnoor Lake. The lake is the largest in Tripura and is known for its beautiful islands.
Day 4: Dumbnoor Lake - Agartala - Guwahati - Shillong
- Today is a very long travel day. You will check out from your hotel at Dumbnoor Lake and be transferred to Agartala Airport for your flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be transferred to Shillong. The drive from Guwahati to Shillong takes approximately 3-4 hours.
Day 5: Shillong - Dawki - Mawlynnong - Shillong (Day Trip)
Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion from Shillong to the border town of Dawki and the picturesque village of Mawlynnong.
- Dawki: Visit the border town of Dawki, where you can see the clear waters of the Umngot River and the suspension bridge.
- Mawlynnong: Visit Mawlynnong, famously known as "Asia's Cleanest Village." You will explore the village and see the unique living root bridge.
Day 6: Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong (Day Trip)
Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, known as one of the wettest places on earth.
- Cherrapunjee: Visit the major attractions of Cherrapunjee, including the beautiful waterfalls and the famous Mawsmai and Arwah Caves.
Day 7: Shillong - Guwahati - Aizawl
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Shillong and be transferred to Guwahati Airport for your flight to Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and proceed for a city tour.
- Aizawl Sightseeing: Visit Solomon Temple, a beautiful and modern temple. You can also visit the Skywalk Café for a panoramic view of the city.
Day 8: Aizawl - Thenzawl - Aizawl (Day Trip)
Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to Thenzawl.
- Vanthang Waterfall: Visit Vanthang Waterfall, the fifth-highest waterfall in Mizoram.
- Diphu Lake: Visit Diphu Lake, a serene lake surrounded by forests.
- Golf Course: You will also get a chance to see the golf course at Thenzawl.
- Hmuifang Hills: On your way back to Aizawl, you will visit the beautiful Hmuifang Hills.
Day 9: Aizawl Sightseeing
Today is dedicated to exploring the local culture and landscapes of Aizawl.
- Vaipuanpho: Visit Vaipuanpho, a scenic viewpoint.
- Tlang River: You will get a view of the beautiful Tlang River.
- Ngai Tlang: Visit Ngai Tlang, a beautiful hill that offers a panoramic view of the area.
- State Museum: Explore the State Museum, which houses a collection of Mizo artifacts and costumes.
- Lalsaung Peak: You will also visit Lalsaung Peak, a popular spot for its scenic views.
Day 10: Aizawl - Imphal (By Flight)
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and be transferred to Aizawl Airport for your flight to Imphal, the capital of Manipur. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and proceed for a city tour.
- Imphal City Tour: Visit Kangla Fort, a historical fort with a rich history. You will also visit Govindji Temple, the Cherauchin Hills, the State Museum, and a local Art Gallery.
Day 11: Imphal - Moirang - Loktak - Imphal (Day Trip)
Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to the southern part of Manipur.
- INA Museum: Visit the INA Museum in Moirang, which has a collection of artifacts and photographs from the Indian National Army.
- Japanese War Memorial: Visit the Japanese War Memorial, a memorial dedicated to the Japanese soldiers who fought in the Second World War.
- Keibul Lamjao National Park: You will visit the Keibul Lamjao National Park, the only floating national park in the world and the last natural habitat of the endangered Sangai deer.
- Loktak Lake: Visit Loktak Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India, famous for its unique circular floating swamps.
- Gheljiang: You will also visit Gheljiang, a scenic area near the lake.
Day 12: Imphal to Kohima (by Road)
Today is a long travel day. After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Imphal and begin your journey to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. The drive is a long one, approximately 4-5 hours.
- WWII Cemetery: Upon arrival in Kohima, you will check into your hotel and visit the WWII Cemetery, a memorial dedicated to the soldiers who died in the Battle of Kohima.
- Nagaland State Museum: You can also visit the Nagaland State Museum, which showcases the history and culture of the different tribes of Nagaland.
- Street Walk: In the evening, you can take a walk through the streets of Kohima to experience the local life.
Day 13: Kohima - Khonoma - Kaziranga
Today is a very long travel day. You will check out from your hotel in Kohima and drive to Kaziranga National Park. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours.
- Khonoma Village: On your way out of Kohima, you will visit Khonoma Village, a historical village known for its brave warriors and unique conservation efforts.
- Kaziranga: Upon arrival in Kaziranga, you will check into your resort and have the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the safari the next day.
Day 14: Kaziranga to Guwahati
After an early morning safari in Kaziranga, you will check out from your resort and drive to Guwahati. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours.
- Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary: Enjoy a jungle safari in the Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a home to the one-horned rhinoceros.
- Guwahati: Departure to Guwahati

- Travel Insurance: This package does not include travel insurance.
- Airfare/Train Tickets: This package does not include airfare or train tickets to and from Agartala/Guwahati. The flights between Agartala-Guwahati, Shillong-Aizawl, and Aizawl-Imphal are not included.
