Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad & Sightseeing
The journey begins with your arrival at Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of some of the city's key attractions.
- Gandhi Ashram (Sabarmati Ashram): Visit Sabarmati Ashram, the former residence of Mahatma Gandhi. It is a peaceful and historical place that offers a glimpse into the life and work of the "Father of the Nation."
- ISKCON Temple: Explore the ISKCON Temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, known for its serene atmosphere and intricate architecture.
- Akshardham Temple: Visit the magnificent Akshardham Temple, a beautiful and intricately carved temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan.
- Vaishno Devi Temple: Pay your respects at the Vaishno Devi Temple, a replica of the original temple in Jammu, which is a popular pilgrimage site.
Day 2: Ahmedabad to Bhuj
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Ahmedabad and begin your journey to Bhuj. The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours. After checking into your hotel in Bhuj, the rest of the day is at your leisure to rest and prepare for the upcoming tour.
Day 3: Bhuj - Mandvi - Bhuj
Today is dedicated to a full-day excursion to the coastal town of Mandvi. The round-trip journey from Bhuj is approximately 116 km.
- Mandvi Beach: Visit Mandvi Beach, a beautiful beach known for its serene atmosphere and the opportunity to relax and enjoy the sea breeze.
- Vijay Vilas Palace: Explore the Vijay Vilas Palace, a beautiful palace that was the summer retreat of the Maharao of Kutch. It is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful gardens.
- 72 Jinalaya Mandir: Visit the 72 Jinalaya Mandir, a beautiful Jain temple complex known for its intricate carvings and peaceful ambiance.
Day 4: Bhuj – Rann Exploration – Bhuj
Discover Kutch's villages, the White Desert, and panoramic views.
- Bhuj: Depart early for the Rann excursion.
- Banni Villages: Visit Hodka Village and Ludiya Village to see traditional Bhungas and handicrafts.
- Dhordo: Proceed to Dhordo to experience the vast White Rann (salt desert).
- Kalo Dungar: Drive up Kalo Dungar for panoramic views of the Rann.
- Bhuj: Return to Bhuj in the evening.
Day 5: Bhuj to Ahmedabad & Temple Visit
Travel back to Ahmedabad and unwind with an evening temple visit.
- Bhuj to Ahmedabad: Drive from Bhuj to Ahmedabad (approx. 6-7 hours).
- Arrival & Rest: Reach Ahmedabad, check into your hotel, and rest.
- ISKCON Temple: In the evening, visit the ISKCON Temple for darshan. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6: Ahmedabad Sightseeing & Departure
Explore heritage sites before your departure.
- Gandhi Ashram: Visit Mahatma Gandhi's former residence, Sabarmati Ashram.
- Sidi Sayyed Mosque: Admire the intricate 'Tree of Life' stone latticework.
- Adalaj Stepwell: Drive to the village of Adalaj to see the historic, ornate stepwell.
- Akshardham Temple: Visit the grand Akshardham Temple complex in Gandhinagar.
- Departure Transfer: Proceed to Ahmedabad Airport/Station for your onward journey.
