Day 1: Arrival in Bangalore & Sightseeing

The journey begins with your arrival in Bangalore. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of some of the city's key attractions.

  1. Lal Bagh Botanical Garden: Visit Lal Bagh Botanical Garden, a beautiful and historic garden known for its Glass House and a wide variety of plants.
  2. Cubbon Park: Explore Cubbon Park, a sprawling green space in the heart of the city, which is a great place to relax.
  3. Vidhana Soudha: You will get a view of Vidhana Soudha, the seat of the state legislature of Karnataka, which is a magnificent building.
  4. ISKCON Temple: Visit the ISKCON Temple, a beautiful and modern temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Day 2: Bangalore to Mysore

After breakfast, drive from Bangalore to Mysore.

  1. St. Philomena Church – Explore this beautiful neo-gothic style church in Mysore.
  2. Brindavan Garden – Enjoy the musical fountain and manicured gardens.
  3. Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens (Mysore Zoo) – Visit one of India’s oldest and most well-maintained zoos.
  4. Chamundeshwari Temple – Perched atop Chamundi Hill, this temple offers panoramic views of Mysore.
  5. Melody World Wax Museum – Explore lifelike wax statues of famous personalities.
  6. Mysore Palace – Witness the grandeur of this iconic royal palace.

Proceed to Coorg in the evening and check into your hotel.

 

Day 3:  Mysore - Coorg 

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Coorg.

  1. Abbey Falls – Scenic waterfall surrounded by coffee plantations.
  2. Omkareshwara Temple – A historic temple blending Gothic and Islamic architecture.
  3. Madikeri Fort – Visit this hilltop fort with stunning views of Madikeri town.

Return to your hotel in Coorg for the night.

Day 4:  Coorg Sightseeing

  1. Sri Bhagandeshwara Temple – Explore this ancient temple in Madikeri.
  2. Talacauvery & Bhagamandala – The birthplace of the Cauvery River and a pilgrimage site.
  3. Raja’s Seat – Watch the sunset from this popular viewpoint.

Day 5: Coorg to Ooty

After breakfast, drive to Ooty, stopping at scenic spots along the way.

  1. Stone House, Ooty – Explore the oldest colonial building in Ooty.
  2. Pykara Lake – Enjoy boating and the serene surroundings.
  3. Deer Park – Visit this small but charming park with deer and other animals.

Check into your hotel in Ooty in the evening.

Day 6: Ooty Sightseeing

Today is dedicated to exploring the beautiful hill station of Ooty.

  1. Ooty Lake: Enjoy a boat ride at Ooty Lake, a beautiful man-made lake.
  2. Doddabetta Peak: Visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri Mountains, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills.

After breakfast, drive from Ooty to Kodaikanal, visiting scenic attractions en route.

  2. Berijam Lake – Visit this tranquil lake surrounded by forested hills.

Check into your hotel in Kodaikanal in the evening.

Day 8: Kodaikanal Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Kodaikanal’s main attractions.

Day 9: Kodaikanal to Madurai Departure

  1. Your tour of the beautiful landscapes of South India concludes today. After breakfast, you will be transferred from Kodaikanal to Madurai Airport for your onward journey. The drive takes approximately 3-4 hours.
